In an ideal bowling world, the PBA Tour would have so much prize money that any decent player would want to become a member.
It would be so much money that the money available to be won in so-called “amateur” — a word that should never be used in bowling beyond pre-scholarship youth bowlers, as I have preached consistently — competition would not even be a factor in someone’s decision whether or not to join the PBA.
