That left the English right-hander needing just 7-spare, 8-1, 9-0, or a strike for the win, and he rolled two shots perhaps as bad as the previous three were good.
Barrett’s first jumped high and left a 4-6 split, after which he commented that he “grabbed a handful of that one.”
