In what could be considered a bowling equivalent of Villanova beating Georgetown for the 1985 NCAA basketball title, Italy swept top seed Team USA 189-169 and 210-166 in Tuesday’s  gold medal match of the team event of the 2018 World Men’s Championships at the South China Athletic Association Bowling Centre in Hong Kong. The result was even more astounding when you consider that in the semifinals, the U.S. routed Singapore 238-194 and 216-189. But the U.S....
