It obviously is fitting that Bill O’Neill on Sunday won the 2019 season-opening PBA Hall of Fame Classic to become title-eligible for the PBA Hall of Fame. O’Neill now has 10 PBA Tour titles, including the 2009-10 U.S. Open, in a career that has been solid and steady, with the occasional spectacular thrown in.
