Trying to compare viewership numbers for PBA TV shows on FOX and FSI to the viewership numbers on ESPN in previous years is somewhat akin to comparing apples and oranges. That’s because the PBA’s deal with FOX Sports includes numerous re-broadcasts — 14 for the special PBA Clash that first aired Dec. 23 and 11 scheduled for the Hall of Fame Classic that first aired Sunday — that boost viewership numbers, while ESPN re-broadcasts were rare.
