It’s a measure of what a huge first round of qualifying Jesper Svensson had in this week’s PBA events in Oklahoma that a second round in which he averaged 245 amounted to “cooling down” on the very friendly Mark Roth 42 lane pattern. In Tuesday’s first round, Svensson averaged nearly 260 in totaling 1,814 for seven games. In Wednesday’s second round, the Swedish 2-handed lefty fired games of 236, 230, 265, 234, 258, 255 and 237 for 1,715 and a 3,529 total...
