As the 93-player field at the 2-pattern PBA Lubbock Sports Open at South Plains Lanes moved from the Wolf 32 lane pattern to the Scorpion 42 for Thursday’s second round of qualifying, the scores dropped. While four players topped 1,600 for seven games on Wolf in Wednesday’s first round, the high score on Scorpion was Brad Angelo’s 1,585. E.J.
