Biggest bowling deal ever? No surprise, but some intrigue in Jason Belmonte sticking with Storm Products on a new multi-year contract

In bowling history there have been two reported $1 million dollar endorsement staff contracts: Don Carter with Ebonite in what I believe was a 10-year deal in 1964 and Chris Barnes with Columbia 300 in an 8-year deal in 2006.
Carter’s deal, as most serious bowlers and bowling fans know, was the first $1 million dollar endorsement deal in all of sports, as USBC did a good job of detailing in a news release that is archived at DonCarter.com here.
