Dave Beres beat Chris Gibbons 260-247 in the title match at Rock River Lanes in Fort Atkinson to win his fifth career Madison Area Scratch Tour title, MAST reported. Beres, a member of last year's USBC Open Championships team all-events Eagle winning Red Carpet Lanes team, qualified seventh at 888 for four games and averaged 232 in four games of match play en route to the win.
