For most of its history, Cheetah has been a high-risk, high-reward lane pattern that yields big scores to those that can get lined up and matched up.  As PBA World Series of Bowling X kicked off Tuesday at Thunderbowl Lanes in the Detroit suburb of Allen Park, Michigan, Cheetah yielded decent scores, but not near what it sometimes does, with Rhino Page averaging just over 234 to lead the 135-player field.
