Korea's Ji Geun and Singapore’s Arianne Tay are the first gold medalists in the history of the 2019 World Bowling World Junior Championships, winning the singles on Tuesday at Plaza Bowling Saint Maximin outside Paris. Ji, a lefty who makes me think of a stockier Richard Wolfe, also rolled the competition’s first perfect game, although it comes with a bit of an asterisk, as current frame scoring is being used for the inaugural WJC.
