Perhaps Solomon Salama needs a bigger challenge than his fellow youth bowlers. Fresh off the World Junior Championships in Paris, where Salama’s best finish was a silver medal in doubles with Anthony Neuer, the 16-year-old 2-handed lefty totaled 1,184 for five games (236.8 average) to lead a 450-player field that includes the best players in the world after the first round of the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Masters.
