The conclusion of the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Masters on Monday night settled the 24-player field for the PBA Playoffs that start next Monday at famed Bayside Bowl in Portland, Maine, and feature a $100,000 top prize, PBA reported in this news release.&nbsp;
But a PBA Tour title will not be at stake, PBA CEO and Commissioner Tom Clark said in a message exchange Wednesday.

"We put it to the Players Committee and their feeling was it should be something to win on its own, not a PBA title, so we went along with that," Clark said. "It's kind of like the Fedex Cup for the PGA Tour that doesnt count as it's own separate title" but also has the biggest prize money.
