With a flat 10-pin, spare and 4-pin, Ron Case got just enough in his final frame to edge past Ryan Mouw 803-802 to take the singles lead at the 2019 United States Bowling Congress Open Championships.
Case’s singles capped a wild night for his California group that included a perfect game by Curtis Woods and Aaron Pawloski and Robert Huckaby moving into third in doubles with 1,392.
