The 100th United States Bowling Congress Women's Championships started Saturday at Northrock Lanes in Wichita, Kansas, with the traditional ribbon cutting, speeches, ceremonial first ball by Visit Wichita President and CEO Susie Santo, and a mass opening shot by the 37 4-player teams competing on the opening squad.
More than 4,100 teams are expected to take part in the tournament, which is scheduled to run for 72 days through June 30, USBC reported in this news release.
