Defending champion Team USA averaged more than 234 per game per man to take the lead halfway through team event at the Pan American Bowling Confederation Men's Championships, Team USA rolled games of 1,186, 1,234 and 1,092 to total 3,512 in Friday’s first round. The medal will be awarded based on 6-game team totals after Saturday’s second round.
