Reigning PWBA Player of the Year Shannon O'Keefe rolled a 229 in the 16th and final qualifying game on Friday to take the lead in the 2019 PWBA Twin Cities Open. The 40-year-old right-hander and 8-time PWBA Tour champion rolled games of 218, 196, 204, 236, 219, 214, 199 and 208 for a 1,694 total in the first round and then 198, 201, 243, 235, 204, 225, 237 and 229 for 1,772 in the second round and an overall total of 3,466, a 216.63 average.
