Getting a bunch of bowlers to compete in a weeknight tournament in the summer in Wisconsin is a tall task, especially for an organization that has never before held a tournament in Wisconsin.
But that didn’t deter Brian Regan, who runs the Midwest Scratch Bowling Series Sweeper.
Regan held an MSBS Sweeper at Village Lanes in Monona on Wednesday night, and while the event drew only 11 bowlers, Regan held the tournament and paid a prize fund, establishing MSBS in this area.
