After Pete Weber edged James Campbell 215-214 in the semifinal match and opened a 20-pin lead against Brian LeClair early in the title match, it looked like the PBA50 River City Extreme Open was going to mark the return of the oft-injured Hall of Famer from bowling purgatory, so to speak.
