As I recounted in my Day 2 report in my week-long story on the 2019 Junior Gold Championships and she later told USBC in this interview, 14-year-old Jillian Martin competed in the U20 division in order to have a chance to make Junior Team USA. On Friday, she reached that goal, finishing 26 games with a 5,165 total, 89 pins ahead of Taylor Davis, making her the youngest player ever to qualify for Junior Team USA, as far as I have been able to find.
