Nick Pate’s competition at the 2019 Pan American Games could not have gotten off to a much worse start, but he improved from there, culminating with him winning the men’s singles gold medal on Tuesday. PWBA Tour champion Clara Guerrero of Colombia won the women’s singles gold in the competition held at the Bowling Center of La Villa Deportiva Nacional (VIDENA) in Lima, Peru.
