Squad equity has been an issue in bowling for as long as I have been competing in top-level events, which is more than four decades.
In somewhere around 500 PBA tournaments, I’ve been both the beneficiary and victim of horrible squad inequity: I think the worst I saw was a 14-2 split for 16 match play spots in a PBA Regional.
