Dick Weber 45 lane pattern turns nasty, as Mark Williams edges Rick Miner to win PBA60 Dick Weber Championship

The Dick Weber 45 lane pattern looks fairly soft, with 25.74 mL of oil and a main ratio of 4.41-1, and it often is. But it also can turn nasty, as I learned in a PBA50 Regional in Freeport, Illinois, last month. I was cruising along 170 over after five games in fourth place, then shot just 503 the last three games and missed the cut to the top 16 by 11 pins as the lanes turned wickedly wet-dry and defied all my efforts to tame them.
