Coming into the final, position-round match of the 2019 QubicaAMF PWBA Players Championship on Friday night, Cherie Tan held a 30-pin lead over fellow left-hander Shannon Pluhowsky.
With 30 bonus pins awarded for a match win, that meant Tan needed to tie or beat Pluhowsky to secure the top seed for Sunday’s stepladder finals live on CBS Sports Network at 3 p.m. Central time from Buffaloe Lanes North in Raleigh, N.C.
