Herb Kimpel fired his 74th career perfect game to highlight Madison area bowling late Wednesday and Thursday. Kimpel’s 300 came in a 735 series in the Dream Lanes Major League. The top series were 792 by Austin Powers and 677 by Cher Breunig in the Prairie Lanes Classic League. Next were 763 each by Don Dudley in the Prairie Classic and Larry Ramsden in the Viking Lanes Badger League, and 600 by Chris Smith in the Prairie Classic.
