Francois Lavoie, who fell to second in Monday’s cashers round of the 2019 U.S. Open after leading the second and third rounds, regained his lead in Monday night’s first round of match play at Victory Lanes in Mooresville, N.C.
Lavoie won six of his eight matches and totaled 1,707 for the block to finish at 8,729, 35 pins ahead of Anthony Simonsen.
