'Current frame scoring king' Dom Barrett wins Kuwait Open for 8th PBA Tour title, advances to World Bowling Tour Finals

In February 2016, Dom Barrett won the World Bowling Tour Finals while firing a 10-strike perfect game to earn a $10,000 bonus in the event that used the current frame scoring system, as I detailed in this story. Current frame scoring awards 30 pins for every strike, 10 pins plus the first ball count for spares (i.e. 9-spare is 19), and total pinfall for open frames (i.e. 5-3 is 8). The result is a high scoring pace when the lane conditions are scoreable, and the Kuwait Open was no exception...
