Current frame scoring awards 30 pins for every strike, 10 pins plus the first ball count for spares (i.e. 9-spare is 19), and total pinfall for open frames (i.e. 5-3 is 8). The result is a high scoring pace when the lane conditions are scoreable, and the Kuwait Open was no exception...
