Gary Anderson fell a shot shy of perfection to highlight Madison area bowling late Wednesday and Thursday. Anderson rolled a 298 game in a 748 series in the Waun-A-Bowl Beagles Classic League. The tops series were Matt Ruhland's 792 in the Village Lanes Golfers League, and Brittany Pollentier's 667 in the Dream Lanes Major League.
