After two decidedly un-U.S. Open like big-scoring days, the flat pattern being used in Thursday’s third qualifying round of the 2020 U.S. Open almost certainly will produce a scoring pace more in line with what people think of when you say, “U.S. Open.”
“The third pattern is going to be a bloodbath,” PBA superstar Bill O’Neill said on the Sweep The Rack Podcast posted Wednesday. “They are miserable.”
