The lane patterns for the 2020 U.S. Open look a lot like the patterns from the 2019 U.S. Open, but they aren’t copies and they will come in a different order. In my story on the 2019 U.S. Open lane patterns, I detailed them this way: Lane pattern 1 is a 45-foot version of the traditional flat U.S. Open pattern featuring 27.25 mL of Kegel Terrain and Ice oil — 18.5 mL forward and 8.75 mL reverse. The ratios are 1-1 across.
