Jakob Butturff made the TV finals of the season-opening PBA Hall of Fame Classic and three more left-handers — Ryan Ciminelli, Jesper Svensson and Packy Hanrahan — made the TV finals of the PBA Oklahoma Open the next week. None of those four lefties won, and in the four tournaments since, not one lefty made the TV finals.
