The Tournament of Champions is a special event on the PBA Tour, even if it’s not quite as elite as it once was.
There are no regular Joes, so to speak in the TOC, even in the PTQ, which was held Monday at Bowlero Jupiter in southeastern Florida.
While PBA Tour champions can enter the main field, PBA Regional and PBA50 champions had to go through the PTQ, with 17 spots available in the 64-player main field. If you don't have a PBA Tour title, you cannot bowl even in the PTQ, which I hear...
