As I detailed in this story more than a decade ago, Fran Lasee was once the oldest man to roll an 800 series and a 300 game.
On Sunday, the Green Bay Bowling Association Hall of Famer died at 100, according to his obituary.
A month or so after turning 89, Lasee in January 2010 became the oldest person to bowl a perfect game, turning the trick at Willow Creek Lanes.
Later that year, at 89 years and 6 months, Arthur Ulmer of Melbourne, Florida, broke Lasee’s record.
