After a flush strike to start his 10th frame of the title match of the 2021 Guaranteed Rate PBA World Championship on Saturday, Tom Daugherty needed only one more strike and a 4-count to lock up his first major title. The Specto graphic on FOX showed his “ideal line” to be 25.3 at the arrows and 6.9 at the breakpoint. As his shot traveled down lane 43 at AMF University Lanes in Tampa, Florida, Specto flashed 25.4 and 6.7 — numbers that should have produced a pocket hit....
