Hall of Famer Amleto Monacelli led the season-opening PBA50 Lightning Strikes Open after Sunday’s first round, according to results posted here. Monacelli totaled 1,747 for seven games (249.57 average) at Lightning Strikes Bowl in Fort Myers, Florida. Michael Haugen Jr. was second at 1,718, Bob Learn Jr. third with 1,675, Brad Angelo fourth at 1,655, and Mark Sullivan fifth with 1,655.
