Brent Ritchie slams 868, Mary Lo fires 773 to top another big scoring week

Brent Ritchie slammed an 868 and Mary Lo fired a 773 to top another big scoring week of individual certified play in the Madison Area USBC.

Competing at Sport Bowl, Ritchie opened and closed with perfect games, sandwiching a 268 for the fourth-highest certified series of the season.

He later posted this on Facebook:
“That was by far the best combination of execution and carry ever in my life. First time with multiple 300s in a set and my all time high series. Threw the 900 Global Afterburner every shot of the night. Just an overall fantastic evening.”

Lo chained games of 289, 247 and 247 at Ten Pin Alley for her 13th 700 of the season. She said she again used her Roto Grip RUBICON.

Brittany Pollentier fired both a 751 at Dream Lanes and a 720 at Ten Pin Alley.

And Megan Jirsa had 749 (274-227-248) at Spartan Bowl.

Noah Brindley recorded 835 (300-256-279) at Ten Pin Alley. Here is video of the end of his 300 and here is video of the end of his 835.

Kevin Kleutgen just missed a supernational with 795 at Ten Pin.

Hall of Famer Chris Gibbons fired a perfect games in a 795 series.

At Dream Lanes, Doug Leikness recorded his 29th career 300 in a 781, and Danny Verdecchia rolled a 300 in a 693, as seen in this video

Matt Gannon fell a pin shy of perfection with a 299 in a 712 series at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes.
