With the COVID-19 pandemic that vaccines thankfully are vanquishing, the 2021 USBC Open Championships at South Point in Las Vegas is like no other held in the tournament's 100-plus year history.
The most notable measures impacting the competition are one team per pair, a split of team to the South Point Bowling Plaza and minors to the South Point Bowling Center, and the delayed start to May 1, which created a beginning of the tournament with many more strong teams than is seen with the typical...
