Jacobs Entertainment, the owner of the Sands-Regency hotel and casino and developer of the Reno Neon Line District, has bought three hotels in the area, the Reno Gazette-Journal reported in this story.

Another downtown Reno redevelopment plan has been stalled for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic: P3 Partners’ proposal includes additional sports uses for the National Bowling Stadium, assuming management responsibilities for the Stadium and the Reno Events Center, and redevelopment of the blighted area that formerly was a bus station across Center Street from the Stadium into a hotel.
