Defending champion Dasha Kovalova soared to a 98-pin lead after Friday’s qualifying at the 2021 PWBA Louisville Open.
Kovalova memorably won the 2019 Louisville Open — there was no PWBA Tour in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic — with a perfect game in the title match, routing top seed Liz Johnson, who rolled a 163.
