You&rsquo;d be hard pressed to find many bowlers who prefer to bowl the last squad of the day at the Open Championships, as it&rsquo;s scheduled very late in the evening and all too often doesn&rsquo;t start until the wee hours of the morning.
USBC is recognizing this reality in again changing the squad times for the Open Championships, starting in 2022 and lasting for at least three years, it announced in this news release Thursday.

The new schedule for 2022-23-24 will eliminate the late-night minors squad and end each day with a 9:30 p.m. combination team and minors squad. The negatives include teams registered for 2022 being forced to change times and possibly dates, and limited brackets on the combined squad.
