Squad equity has been an issue in bowling for as long as I have been competing in top-level events, which is more than four decades.
The issue reared its ugly head again Saturday at the 2021 PBA Lubbock Sports Open presented by Storm and South Plains Lanes, as 11 of the top 12 players came from A squad and just one from B after the eight games of qualifying, according to results posted here.
