Singapore’s Cherie Tan led most of the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open and entered the 56th and final game at Double Decker Lanes in Rohnert Park, California with a 65-pin lead over Josie Barnes. That meant Barnes needed to win the final game by 36 pins — each match play win was worth 30 bonus pins — to pass Tan.
