USBC announced Thursday that it has approved final policy revisions for the SMART (Scholarship Management and Account Reporting for Tenpins) program following a process that included proposals in April and an ensuing comment period. USBC said in April that the policy changes came as the SMART fund has grown from $39 million to more than $96 million since 2010, with recipients using only about $5 million annually. In addition, only 10% of providers are using unassigned funds for new scholarships...
