Less brutal pattern boosts scores in third round, E.J. Tackett leads 36 players advancing at 2022 U.S. Open.

As I detailed in this story, it doesn’t get more brutal in bowling than flat pattern day at the U.S. Open, and this year was no exception, with just 26 of the 108 players averaging 200 or better on Wednesday.
