In a cashers round in which none of the other players could average 225, E.J. Tackett averaged an astounding 246.25 to extend his lead at the 2022 U.S. Open from six pins to 271 pins. Tackett fired games of 212, 258, 244, 268, 234, 256, 299 and 199 for a 1,970 total for the cashers round and a 32-game total of 7,208 (225.25 average).
