After averaging a stratospheric 262.85 in Sunday’s first round of the 2022 PBA Senior U.S. Open at South Plains Lanes in Lubbock, Texas, Brian LeClair came back to earth in Monday’s second round by averaging “just” 222.85. But it was enough for the 2017 PBA50 Player of the Year to retain the lead as qualifying ended and the 81-player field was cut to the top 27 for Tuesday’s advancers round.
