2021 PBA50 Tour Player of the Year Tom Hess finally wins in 2022, taking Highland Park Lanes Open

Tom Hess closed 2021 with a flourish, winning back-to-back major titles to claim both Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. The powerful right-hander has continued to bowl at a high level this year, but two seconds and a fourth heading into the 2022 Highland Park Lanes Open had left him hungry for a win. And he bowled like it, finishing first after the Advancers round by 156 pins over Carlos Denot of Mexico with a 4,430 total for 19 games (233.16 average), then beating Mike Dias 681-626...
