It’s hard to imagine a player being hotter than E.J. Tackett, who started the 2023 PBA Tour with three wins in the first five tournaments and now leads the sixth after Day 1 Tuesday, according to results posted here.
Dick Weber twice (1959-60 and 1961) and Johnny Petraglia (1971) are the only players to win three straight PBA Tour singles tournaments, while Mark Roth won three titles in a row with one being the Doubles with Marshall Holman in 1978.
