World Series of Bowling XIV looks to be setting up to be decisive in the 2023 PBA Player of the Year race.
E.J. Tackett and Anthony Simonsen are the leading contenders, Tackett has made both the Cheetah Championship (second seed) and Scorpion Championship (second seed) shows, Simonsen made the Scorpion show (fourth seed), and both are in position to make the World Championship (first tied and fourth) after 40 of 72 games.
