Cherie Tan cruises to qualifying lead at 2023 USBC Queens as 194.6 average makes match play

Cherie Tan on Saturday cruised to the qualifying lead at the 2023 USBC Queens, while just a 194.6 average was needed to make match play on the difficult conditions.
After the 15 games of qualifying, the top 63 players and Birgit Noreiks, who was guaranteed a spot in the bracket as the defending champion, advanced to the double-elimination match play bracket Sunday and Monday. Matches are three games decided by total pins.
Ultimately, five players will advance to the stepladder finals live on CBS...
